Pentagon confirms North Korean military's presence in Russia
The United States has evidence that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's troops are in Russia. However, they do not know why, according to Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin.
“There is evidence that there are DPRK troops in Russia. What exactly they are doing? Left to be seen. These are things that we need to sort out,” Austin said during a conversation with reporters.
DPRK sent soldiers to fight against Ukraine
North Korea has sent its soldiers to participate in the war against Ukraine. According to RBC-Ukraine's sources, the North Korean military has already been deployed to Russia for training before participating in hostilities.
The Center for Strategic Communications of Ukraine has released video footage showing North Korean soldiers being issued Russian military uniforms at a training ground in the Russian Far East. In recent days, new evidence has emerged of the presence of North Korean troops on Russian territory.
South Korea, concerned about this deepening of cooperation between Russia and North Korea, has announced its intention to gradually introduce additional measures against both countries to increase international pressure on them.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy also confirmed that Ukraine has information about the training of two brigades of North Korean military that could be involved in a war.
