Partisans uncover vital information on Russian air defense positions in Crimea
Ukrainian partisans learned about the new location of the S-400 Triumf air defense systems. Russian military "leaked" this information by themselves, the official Telegram channel of the partisan movement Atesh reports.
The coordinator of our movement in Crimea has begun receiving regular messages from Russian soldiers who serve in air defense units on the peninsula. They complain about unbearable service conditions and increasingly express a desire to return home.
"One of these servicemen shared important information about the location of four S-400 Triumf systems and their missile storage in the Saky district, near Yevpatoria," the partisans said.
Situation in Yevpatoria
Yevpatoria is a city in Crimea that was seized in 2014. Since then, the Russian army has organized locations for military equipment and personnel going to the front in Ukraine, especially after the large-scale invasion.
Earlier, reports indicated that Russian soldiers had set up fire positions directly on the beaches of Yevpatoria in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
In September 2023, the Security Service military counterintelligence and the Ukrainian Navy carried out a unique special operation near Yevpatoria. As a result, Ukrainian forces destroyed a Russian Triumf air defense system worth 1.2 billion dollars.
