Partisans reveal anti-aircraft missile regiment near Moscow and release photos

Representatives of the Ukrainian underground managed to infiltrate the territory of the 606th Guards Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces. It is located in the Moscow region, near the capital of the aggressor country, the partisan movement Atesh reports on Telegram.
The military unit in question is 61996, with its headquarters in the settlement of Elektrostal, east of Moscow.
This Russian unit belongs to the air defense forces of the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Armed Forces, which are "intended to repel attacks in airspace."
"The unit is equipped with S-400 'Triumf' and S-300PM systems," the partisans clarified.
On January 24, strike drones attacked several districts of the Moscow region during the night. On the same night, drones targeted the Ryazan Oil Refinery, the Novo-Ryazan Thermal Power Plant, and the Dyagilevo Air Base.
The movement said that, according to information from relatives of Russian servicemen, after the Ukrainian drone attacks in January 2025, "inspections became more frequent" at the facility. The fact is that the drones flew to the Moscow region.
"Our agent collected data on the operating mode, transport, and personnel. We promptly transferred all the information to the Defense Forces of Ukraine," added the Atesh movement.
The partisans also published a photo of the scouted facility.

In November last year, partisans scouted strategic military facilities of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the Moscow region. The data was transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for strikes.
