A gas pipeline was damaged in Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region, during a Russian attack on July 30. Part of the city was left without a gas supply, according to the press service of the Mykolaiv branch of Gazmerezhi.

"In the frontline city of Ochakiv, a gas pipeline was damaged during an enemy attack. As a result, over a hundred customers were left without gas," the statement reads.

It is noted that workers from the Mykolaiv branch quickly contained the emergency and are doing their best to restore gas supply to residents as soon as possible. However, their work is being hampered by ongoing heavy Russian shelling.

"Updates on the restoration of gas supply will be provided later," the company added.

Attack on Ochakiv

On the night of July 30, Russian troops fired on Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region with a multiple launch rocket system.

As a result of the attack, 11 private houses, one apartment building, three vehicles, and five outbuildings were damaged.

According to the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, the strike also sparked a fire in dry grass and one of the damaged structures. No casualties were reported.
