Russian troops fired on Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region, with a multiple launch rocket system tonight, July 30. Fires broke out in the city, and houses were damaged, according to Vitalii Kim, head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration.

"At 12:20 a.m. Kyiv time, on the night of July 30, Russia launched a rocket attack on the city of Ochakiv. As a result, 11 private houses, one apartment building, three cars, and five farm buildings were damaged," Kim says.

According to the head of the Mykolaiv regional military administration, Russian shelling also caused a fire in dry grass and one of the damaged buildings, but there were no casualties.

Russian strikes on Ochakiv

The Russians regularly strike Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region using MLRS, drones, and missiles. On July 15, Russia launched a missile strike on Ochakiv, causing a fire in the city.

On April 7, Russians struck Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region. Residential buildings and city infrastructure were damaged.

In addition, on Monday, April 3, Russian troops shelled the Ochakiv community in the Mykolaiv region with artillery.
