Over 100 combat engagements since beginning of day, enemy active on 3 fronts - General Staff

Today, July 25, since the beginning of the day, there have been 103 combat engagements along the front line. The enemy is active in three directions, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Overall, since the beginning of the day, there have been 103 combat engagements. The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk direction and has also increased the number of offensive and assault actions in the Kurakhove and Vremivka directions," the General Staff writes.
Situation in directions
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attacked near Hlyboke four times and near Vovchansk twice. Currently, one battle is ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian forces stormed near Stelmakhivka, Petropavlivka, and Stepova Novoselivka five times. One battle is over, while four are ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked near the settlements of Makiyivka and Nevske, as well as in the area of the Serebryanske Forestry ten times. Four battles are ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, there were five attacks near Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, and Mykolayivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the Russian army carried out eight assaults near Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Kalynivka, Mayske, and Hryhorivka. Two attacks are ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked near Zalizne, New York, and Pivnichne eight times. Three battles are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 18 attacks. Currently, nine combat engagements are ongoing.
In the Kurakhove direction, the Russian forces attacked near Krasnohorivka, Kostyantynivka, and Paraskoviivka 14 times. Four attacks are ongoing.
In the Vremivka direction, there are three ongoing attacks near Velyka Novosilka. In total, 10 attacks by the Russian army have been repelled in the areas of Kostyantynivka, Vodiane, and Rozdolne.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted to break through the defense of Mala Tokmachka, Yurkivka, Nova Andriivka, and Shcherbakivka. Two attacks were repelled, and two are ongoing.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russia attacked the Ukrainian positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River three times.
Frontline situation
According to the General Staff, during the past day, July 24, 149 combat engagements were recorded. The enemy was most active in the Pokrovsk direction.
In particular, over the course of the day, the Defense Forces eliminated:
- 1230 troops
- 11 tanks
- 26 armored combat vehicles
- 45 artillery systems and more.
