Only one floor damaged: Kyiv’s cardiology institute still working after Russian attack

The Kyiv Institute of Cardiology continues to operate despite the Russian strike. Only the fourth floor of the building, which was hit, is out of use, states Ukraine’s Minister of Health, Viktor Liashko, during the national telethon live broadcast.
He noted that the Strazhesko Institute of Cardiology was damaged as a result of a Shahed drone attack.
According to Liashko, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko has already instructed the Recovery Agency to be involved in the rapid repair of the cardiology institute building so it can return to full operation.
"Today, only one floor is out of service; all the others are functioning. So we hope that the fourth floor will be up and running as soon as possible. Experts are currently assessing the damage. I think by the end of the week we will have a clearer understanding of the deadlines for restoring the facility," the Minister of Health added.
