One humanoid every 10 minutes: China unveils next-generation robot factory

To optimize processes, the developers created an exact 1:1 virtual replica of the facility using the Siemens Plant Simulation platform.

How does it work?

Virtual modeling: The platform recreates workstations, storage racks, and AGV floor vehicles.

Modeling processes from raw material intake to finished product shipment significantly reduces the costs of on-site commissioning.

The production line turns out one humanoid every 10 minutes. The planned annual capacity exceeds 10,000 units.

Yanshee MOM smart system: The jointly developed system manages production schedules, material logistics, and warehousing.

Full traceability: Each robot receives a unique serial number, allowing its components, batches, assembly parameters,

and test data to be tracked throughout its entire life cycle.

Robots on the assembly line and flexible production

The main feature of the facility is the active involvement of humanoid robots in the production of other robots.

Cruzr Y1 and Cruzr S2 robot models work alongside humans, carrying out tasks such as unpacking, palletizing, loading and transporting components.

Instead of rigid, fixed production lines, the facility uses a flexible system that combines collaborative arms, manipulators, logistics machines, and rotary machines capable of rotating 360 degrees.

This makes it possible to quickly switch between the production of Walker and Cruzr models on the same line.

Is it financially profitable?

The transition to mass production had a significant impact on UBTECH's financial results in the first half of the year:
