One dead, dozens arrested in shooting near Moscow's Kremlin
A shooting took place in the Russian capital, Moscow. One person has been reported dead while dozens arrested, reports TASS.
According to preliminary data, the shooting took place near the office of the Wildberries marketplace in the Romanov Dvor business center, which is located next to the Kremlin. One person was killed and three others were injured. Law enforcement officers also detained about 30 people.
According to Russian media, the shooting was driven by a business dispute between theWildberries co-owners. The company's press service said that the husband of Wildberries founder Tatyana Bakalchuk, Vladislav, tried to get into the company's office. He was not allowed in, and the shooting started.
Bakalchuk told the media that the incident was a provocation and that he was the victim. According to Bakalchuk, he and his team were attacked when he arrived at the office for talks about stopping the construction of warehouses.
