Oleksandr Usyk ends his career - Ukrainian boxer's statement

Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk has announced that he plans to end his career. He said that he plans to hold only two more fights, states .
Oleksandr Usyk said he plans to retire from the sport after two more competitions and what fight he wants to fight next.
Last May, the Ukrainian defeated Tyson Fury to win all four heavyweight titles. He vacated the IBF belt but retained the unified WBC, WBA, and WBO titles thanks to a repeat victory over Fury.
Now the absolute world champion is planning only two more fights in his career and wants to box the winner of Daniel Dubois vs. Joseph Parker.
On February 22, at the Riyadh Season tournament in Riyadh, 27-year-old Briton Dubois will defend his IBF world heavyweight title against New Zealander Parker.
"I will fight whoever wins, Joseph Parker, Daniel Dubois, no problem," Usyk said.
Dubois holds the IBF belt and will defend it against Parker on February 22. The winner of this confrontation may get a chance to fight Usyk for the world title.
The 38-year-old boxer plans to retire in the next two years and will most likely fight only once more after his next fight.
"I think I have one and a half to two years left in boxing. I feel great, but I'm only preparing for two fights, no more. Only two," Usyk said.
Daniel Dubois already fought Usyk in 2023 for the title of unified heavyweight champion of the world. He lost by technical knockout in the ninth round, although the fight was tough for the Ukrainian.

The British boxer believes that he has significantly improved his skills and wants to take revenge on Usyk.
"I'm getting better, I'm progressing. They say that after winning a championship title, you grow as a fighter. I think that's exactly what I am. I'm ready to get back in the ring and beat anyone who is put in front of me," Dubois said.
