The oil depot in Crimea's Fedosia, which was attacked by the Ukrainian military on October 7, is almost destroyed. Photos after the fire were posted online by the Crimean Wind Telegram channel.

The fire at the oil terminal in Feodosia was extinguished for almost a week. The fire was extinguished on Saturday, October 12.

“A week after the fire started, the oil depot in Feodosia looks like this - burnt tanks and islands of foam in the lakes of water poured out during firefighting,” the statement says.

The fire damaged 12 tanks, eight of which were destroyed. Buildings on the territory of the base also burned down. In addition to the tanks, the terminal's infrastructure was also severely damaged.

Attack on oil depot in Feodosia

On the night of October 7, the Ukrainian military attacked an oil terminal in temporarily occupied Feodosia (Crimea). The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the oil depot was the largest terminal in Crimea in terms of transshipment of oil products for the Russian army.

The fire at the tank farm lasted for almost a week. The Russian occupation authorities even announced evacuations. For several days, tanks exploded on the territory of the oil depot.
