Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine on the night of March 6. Strikes were recorded in Sumy, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

What Russians attacked with

Last night, the Russian occupiers fired 42 Shaheds at Ukraine from four directions: Chouda and Balaklava - temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as the Kursk region and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia).

In addition, the Russians fired five S-300 anti-aircraft missiles from the occupied territory of the Donetsk region.

Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down Russian 38 kamikaze drones. The air defense system was operating in eight regions of Ukraine.

Sumy

Sumy was attacked by Russian drones. According to local authorities, three strikes were recorded in different parts of the city.

There were victims of the attack, but their number is not specified.

Kharkiv region

The Russian occupiers attacked the village of Martove in the Chuhuiv district with drones. The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration says that the Russians tried to attack with seven drones, some of which were shot down.

Russian attack damaged the buildings of a kindergarten and a lyceum. Fortunately, no one was injured.

Odesa

Explosions have been heard in Odesa since the evening of March 5. Ukrainian air defense was likely operating in the region. The consequences of the attack are still unknown.

However, local media report that the attack left part of Odesa without electricity. In particular, there were problems with electricity in the Moldavanka microdistrict.

Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi regions

The Ukrainian Air Force reported the movement of Russian drones in the direction of these regions. In the Kyiv region, explosions were heard, and local authorities reported air defense activities.

Explosions were also heard in the Khmelnytskyi region. According to preliminary data, it was also the work of air defense.

Dnipropetrovsk region

Russians have attacked the Nikopol district of the Dnipropetrovsk region three times since the evening. First, the invaders attacked Nikopol with kamikaze drones and fired at the Marhanets community with heavy artillery. The attack damaged a power line. No people were injured.

Around midnight, the Ukrainian defenders shot down a drone over the Dnipropetrovsk district.

Cherkasy region

According to the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, a Shahed was shot down in the Zvenyhorod district at night. There were no destructions or casualties.

Donetsk region

Russian army fired four S-300 missiles at Pokrovsk. 11 multi-story buildings, three private houses, and three administrative buildings were damaged.

A civilian was lightly injured as a result of the attack.
