Number of injured in Russian attack on Kyiv climbs to 114

A total of 114 people were injured in Kyiv following a nighttime Russian attack. Authorities have also confirmed three additional fatalities, reports Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
According to the information, three people were killed in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv as a result of the massive shelling.
Earlier reports stated that 14 people had died in Kyiv due to a large-scale, combined Russian strike.
Klitschko noted that 114 people sought medical help, with 68 of them hospitalized. The rest received treatment on-site and did not require hospitalization.
Rescue and recovery operations are currently underway, with emergency services working to ensure the safety of residents.
Nighttime attack on Kyiv on June 17
In the early hours of June 17, Kyiv came under heavy attack from Russian forces. The aggressor used Shahed-type kamikaze drones and missiles, causing widespread destruction in residential areas of the capital.
Debris from the strikes landed in various parts of the city, damaging apartment buildings, non-residential structures, and vehicles. Over a hundred people were injured, some of whom were hospitalized.
Emergency services responded at the scenes, clearing the aftermath and assisting the injured. City authorities are continuing to assess the full scale of the damage and are doing everything possible to stabilize the situation.
