Number of injured in Kharkiv reaches 41
The number of injured in Kharkiv missile attack has risen, doubling in size. At the moment, one woman has been reported dead, and 41 others injured, according to Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, and Ihor Terekhov, the mayor of Kharkiv.
"41 injured as a result of the occupiers' morning attack on Kharkiv," said Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
Additionally, according to him, one woman has died, and her identity is being established.
Russia targeted Kharkiv with Kinzhal missile
Russian forces likely struck Kharkiv using Kinzhal missiles, as reported by the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov.
"Preliminarily, the enemy struck Kharkiv with Kinzhals," said Mayor Ihor Terekhov.
The number of victims and wounded may rise
Currently, the number of casualties and fatalities from Russia's attack on Kharkiv continues to be clarified.
"We have information that requires clarification, but there are about 41 injured. There is also information about the dead - their number is being specified," noted the city mayor.
Relevant services are working at the sites of missile landings, all fires have been extinguished.
Attack on Kharkiv
Early in the morning on January 2, an air alarm was declared in Ukraine. Kyiv and Kharkiv have come under a massive attack, with explosions heard in other regions of Ukraine as well.
