Korean Central News Agency releases terms of agreement between North Korea and Russia
According to the Korean Central News Agency, the comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between Russia and North Korea stipulates immediate mutual assistance in the event of aggression against either country, reports TASS.

- Immediate mutual assistance in the event of aggression against either country;
- In the event of an aggression threat, the countries will coordinate positions and ensure cooperation to eliminate the threat;
- Moscow and Pyongyang commit not to sign agreements with third countries that could threaten the sovereignty and security of the two countries;
- Russia and North Korea aim to increase bilateral trade volumes and create favorable conditions for economic cooperation;
- Moscow and Pyongyang agreed to develop relations in the fields of space, peaceful nuclear energy, AI, and IT;
- The countries will enhance cooperation in the media sector to counteract misinformation and information provocations;
- Russia and North Korea will establish a system of measures to strengthen defense capabilities to prevent war and ensure peace;
- The strategic partnership agreement between Russia and North Korea is of indefinite duration.
On Tuesday, June 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived for a visit to the capital of North Korea, Pyongyang. The Western press writes that the trip was most likely related to the search for weapons for the war against Ukraine.
In Pyongyang, Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un signed a strategic partnership agreement, which, according to the Russian President, includes provisions for mutual aid in the event of aggression against one of the parties. The text of the document had not been published at that time.
The White House described Putin's official visit to Pyongyang as an expansion of partnership and emphasized that Russia is continuing to build a coalition against the democratic world.
