No way to stop fire: Russian attack kills elderly woman in Sumy

The Russian army launched drone strikes on Sumy region during the night of July 20. The attack claimed the life of a woman, according to the head of the Sumy regional administration, Oleh Hryhorov, on Telegram.
Last night, Russian forces attacked a village in the Svesa community, launching four strike drones. As a result of the hits, residential houses caught fire. A 78-year-old woman was killed.
"As a result of direct hits by Russian drones, three residential buildings instantly caught fire — it was impossible to extinguish the flames," the statement said.
Rescuers managed to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring homes.

As a reminder, on July 19, Russian forces launched a massive attack on Shostka in Sumy region. During the night, the invaders struck the city with drones, followed by an airstrike in the morning.

Last night, the Russian army hit Zaporizhzhia and its region with multiple rocket launchers and drones. The enemy attack damaged private houses and an apartment building, causing fires. Three women were injured.
The occupiers also shelled a village near Kherson, resulting in injuries to a man and a child.
