In Avdiivka, where fierce fighting is ongoing, logistics are still operational. There are no Ukrainian units blocked in the city, reports Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, the commander of the Tavria operational-strategic group, on Telegram.

He notes that the enemy is assaulting the city simultaneously from multiple directions. Planned reinforcements of Ukrainian units are underway.

"To expand logistical corridors, raiding strikes are being conducted in the area of Avdiivka. Logistics are operational," the commander reports.

Tarnavskyi adds that increased amounts of ammunition and other means of attack are being supplied to Avdiivka. Stable troop management is ensured.

"As of 13:00, there are no blocked Ukrainian units in Avdiivka. In a difficult situation on the battlefield, when only ruins and a pile of broken bricks remain from fortifications, our priority is to preserve the lives of soldiers," emphasizes the brigadier general.

The commander reports that Ukrainian units have withdrawn from positions on the southern outskirts of Avdiivka with minimal losses. If necessary, maneuvers to transition to newly prepared positions will be conducted in other areas.

Tarnavskyi comments on the departure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces from the south of Avdiivka: there are no blocked units, logistics are operational.

Situation in Avdiivka

Occupation forces have been attempting to take Avdiivka since fall 2023. Currently, it is known that the invaders have managed to enter the city. The situation on this front is approaching critical.

Yesterday, the Third Assault Brigade confirmed that they had been redeployed to the Avdiivka area to reinforce the Ukrainian defense. Defenders showed footage from Avdiivka and noted that the battles on this front are tougher than those in Bakhmut.

In the Third Assault, it was reported that in one sector, fighters were surrounded by the enemy on all sides, but they managed to break the encirclement. Defenders also reported that the occupiers were using phosphorus shells, and at the coking plant, tankers with mazut caught fire.

Today it became known that Ukrainian forces decided to withdraw from the fortified area Zenit in Avdiivka.
