Night attack by Russian drones and ballistic missiles: Air Force reveals details
Russian Forces launched an attack on Ukrainian territory early on January 28, employing Shahed drones and ballistic missiles. Ukrainian Air Defense Forces successfully neutralized four attack drones, reports the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"On the night of January 28, 2024, the adversary launched eight Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs from the southeast direction (Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russian Federation), targeted two Iskander-M missiles at the Poltava region from the Voronezh region, Russian Federation, and fired three S-300 missiles at the Donetsk region from the temporarily occupied territory of the region," stated a release from the Air Force.
It is emphasized that the enemy targeted civilian objects and critical infrastructure in the Poltava, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Four out of the eight enemy Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) that were used in the attack on the frontline zone have been successfully eliminated by the mobile fire groups of the Air Force.
