Rescuers have completed the elimination of the consequences of a kamikaze drone strike on Odesa, which the enemy carried out last night, July 3, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.

"Rescuers have completed work to eliminate the consequences of the Russian attack on Odesa. Due to the enemy strikes, 6 people were injured and 11 were rescued," the statement says.

Russian forces attacked mainly the southern and northern regions of Ukraine. Thus, late yesterday evening, July 2, explosions were heard in Kyiv, and air defense activity was reported in the capital.

In addition, the enemy struck Odesa overnight. The city's mayor, Hennadii Trukhanov, reported that residential buildings were damaged due to the attack.

According to the State Emergency Service, a nine-story building was damaged by the enemy attack, and a fire broke out from the 7th to the 9th floors. Initially, 4 people were reported injured.

"An initial inspection showed that one of the building's entrances suffered significant damage, making it unsafe to enter. After removing hazardous structural elements, experts will carry out a detailed assessment of the building's condition to determine the next steps," Trukhanov said.
