The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has codified and approved the use of new drones ZEUS and HADES. They are maneuverable, resistant to electronic warfare, and capable of destroying enemy equipment at high speed, according to a statement from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

On January 5, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and approved the use of Ukrainian-made unmanned aerial systems ZEUS and HADES in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The ministry explained that these drones have several advantages. In particular:

  • The maneuverable FPV drones of these systems come with frames of different sizes;
  • Thanks to engine adjustments and an improved control system, they can catch up with and strike enemy vehicles moving at high speed;
  • They are capable of targeting field fortifications, armored vehicles, and enemy personnel;
  • They are resistant to enemy electronic warfare systems.

It is also worth noting that in late January, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine codified and approved the operation of the Hromylo domestic unmanned aerial system (UAS).

Recently, the ministry also began its own production of codified FPV drones.

Meanwhile, a logistics robot has been approved for use in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
