New Patriot systems will help, but it's not enough - Zelenskyy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the US for the new Patriot systems but stated that they are insufficient, as demonstrated by Russia's recent attack on Kyiv, which was considered protected, according to his answer to questions at the Ronald Reagan Institute.
"Again, thank you very much for this decision on these additional five Patriot systems. They will help of course. It's not enough, it's never enough," said Zelenskyy, citing Russia's recent attack on Kyiv, which seemed well defended.
He noted that Russian forces are deploying various types of new weaponry. "We also need to move forward, to make strong steps with the air defense of different kinds, more than one," the President stated.
NATO allies will provide Ukraine with five additional Patriot systems, the SAMP-T system, and dozens of tactical air defense systems.
