Netherlands, together with partners, to procure equipment for Ukraine totaling €175 million
The Netherlands and allies will procure additional military equipment for Ukraine worth 175 million euros, according to Twitter (X) of the Dutch Minister of Defense, Kajsa Ollongren.
The head of the Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands emphasized that Ukraine needs more resources for air and sea defense.
"The International Fund for Ukraine (IFU) has therefore announced the purchase of materiel to the value of € 175 million, co-financed by the Netherlands," Ollongren announced.
Assistance to Ukraine from the Netherlands
The Netherlands have been providing military assistance to Ukraine since the early days of Russia's full-scale invasion.
It has recently been announced that Ukraine will receive a new shipment of military aid from the Netherlands. This includes YPR-765 armored vehicles.
Ukrainian military personnel are expected to receive F-16 fighter jets from the Netherlands as early as this summer.
