Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel will continue to act against the Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen. He also called on his country's citizens to be resilient, reports The Jerusalem Post.

"Just as we acted forcefully against Iran's axis of evil, we will act against Houthis," he said.

Netanyahu's statement came the day after a missile fired from Yemen landed in the Tel Aviv area, injuring several people. Continuing his speech, the Israeli Prime Minister pointed to the threat posed by militants.

"The United States, along with other countries, views the Houthis as a threat not only to international shipping but also to the international order," he added.

In his video address, Netanyahu also called on citizens to be patient and demonstrate resilience.

At the end of his speech, the Israeli Prime Minister reiterated that the outcome for the Houthis will be the same as the outcome for other terrorist organizations that oppose Israel.

Yesterday, explosions occurred in the Yemeni capital, Sana'a. The attack was carried out a few hours after the Houthis struck near Tel Aviv in Israel. Later, the US Central Command reported that it was their troops who carried out the attack.
