Russian forces attacked Kharkiv for nearly three hours during the night of July 26, using multiple types of weaponry, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

"Kharkiv was under a massive combined attack for nearly three hours. Russia used multiple types of weaponry, guided aerial bombs, ballistic missiles, and kamikaze drones," the statement reads.

Mayor Ihor Terekhov added that, according to preliminary data, the city was hit by four guided bomb strikes, two ballistic missile strikes, and approximately 15 Shahed drone attacks.

Russian strikes on the night of July 26

Following a Russian ballistic missile attack on Kharkiv during the night, damage was reported in the city.

According to preliminary reports, one of the guided aerial bombs (KABs) struck a non-operational civilian facility, shattering windows in nearby residential buildings.

"As a result of the KAB strikes on the city, residential buildings, warehouses, and private vehicles were damaged," the mayor later wrote.

In addition, at least two people were reported injured, and more were believed to have been wounded during the ballistic missile attack, though the exact number remains unknown.

This night, Russian forces launched a combined assault on Dnipro, Kamianske, and Kharkiv.
