National Guard fighters destroy Russian surface-to-air missile system worth $10 million

National Guard fighters destroyed an enemy BUK M1 surface-to-air missile system, valued at $10 million.
Ukrainian defenders destroyed a Russian surface-to-air missile system in the Donetsk region. The footage shows the actions of the Lazar strike drone unit.
"In the Donetsk direction, fighters of the Lazar strike drone unit of the 27th Pechersk Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine destroyed a Russian BUK M1 air defense system valued at $10 million," the National Guard reported.
The BUK M1 is a medium-range surface-to-air missile system. The system can simultaneously engage multiple targets at altitudes ranging from 15 meters to 22 kilometers, at a distance of up to 35 km.
Russian army losses
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Russia has lost 1,087,180 soldiers. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian forces eliminated 960 Russian troops in the past day.
In August, Defense Intelligence (HUR) Special Forces carried out a successful raid in the Black Sea. Using FPV drones and other combat UAVs, HUR fighters destroyed an enemy BL-680 type boat, a Garpoon-B radar system, and a Groza electronic warfare system.
