Musk donates part of X's revenue to Israel humanitarian aid
Elon Musk plans to send all Twitter revenues from content related to the war in the Gaza Strip as humanitarian aid to Israeli hospitals and international humanitarian organizations, according to Elon Musk's post.
"X Corp will be donating all revenue from advertising & subscriptions associated with the war in Gaza to hospitals in Israel and the Red Cross/Crescent in Gaza," Musk wrote on Twitter.
What preceded it
The day before, Elon Musk was embroiled in an anti-Semitism scandal that led several world-famous companies, including Disney, Apple, and others, to suspend their activities on Twitter.
Also recently, the European Commission's communications department asked all EU executive agencies to stop advertising on social network X, citing concerns about the spread of misinformation there.
Soon after, Elon Musk commented on the anti-Semitism scandal that provoked an advertising boycott of his social network Twitter. In the commentary, the billionaire denied any involvement in anti-Semitic statements and called all accusations in the media false.
