Musk condemns Russia's war against Ukraine and calls to stop 'inhuman slaughter'

American billionaire and founder of SpaceX, Elon Musk, spoke out against senseless bloodshed, supporting the plan of US President Donald Trump, according to Il Messaggero.
Musk noted that he could not respect those who fuelled the war and emphasized that people were dying on the front lines without any clear strategy. According to him, this war appears brutal, senseless, and inhumane.
Musk stated that President Trump was right, emphasizing that it was time to end the bloodshed. He expressed concern for the soldiers dying every day in the trenches of Ukraine and Russia, noting that they were being forced to kill each other without understanding the reasons or the timeline of the war. He concluded that it was time to say enough.
Elon Musk's position on the war in Ukraine
During Joe Biden's presidency, Elon Musk largely supported Ukraine. His company provided access to thousands of Starlink terminals, which Ukrainian soldiers use on the front lines.
However, after Donald Trump's election victory, the billionaire changed his rhetoric. Specifically, he called the Starlink system the foundation of the Ukrainian army and called for an immediate peace agreement.
Musk supported Trump's campaign to sign an agreement for US control over Ukraine's natural resources. The possibility of blocking Starlink for Ukrainian military forces was not ruled out.
Due to the controversial issue, Italy suspended negotiations with SpaceX regarding the expansion of the Starlink network in the country.
