Brebeneskul, Zakarpattia region
Brebeneskul is considered the highest mountainous lake in Ukraine (1801 m above sea level). It is located on the southwestern slope of the Chornohirskyi Carpathian range. Due to the shape of the lake, it is called the Blue Eye of the Carpathians.
The lake is small in size, about 150 meters long and 70 meters wide. You can swim in Brebeneskul, but you need to be very determined because even on the hottest days the water temperature does not rise above 10 degrees Celsius.

Svityaz, Volyn region
Svityaz is the deepest lake in Ukraine. In some parts of the lake, the depth can reach 58 meters, which is four times deeper than the Sea of Azov. Svityaz is also one of the seven natural wonders of Ukraine.
The lake is also famous for its crystal clear water, where the bottom is visible even at a depth of ten meters. The water of Svityaz is rich in glycerin and silver, which has a very good effect on skin and health.

Synevyr, Zakarpattia region
Synevyr is the largest lake in the Ukrainian Carpathians, located at an altitude of 989 meters above sea level. Its area is about 5 hectares and its depth is up to 22 meters.
On the shore, there are two wooden sculptures of Syn and Vyr, in whose honor, according to legend, the lake was named. The water in the lake is so clear that you can see all the fish and other inhabitants of the reservoir. However, it is forbidden to swim or fish in the lake.

Bile Lake, Rivne region
The Bile (White - ed.) lake is named after its crystal white water. The deepest part of the lake reaches more than 10 meters. Also, the water in the lake is rich in glycerin and soft even to the touch.
This lake is one of the healing lakes of Ukraine and is also called the Lake of Youth because of the water that makes the skin silky and soft. Locals say that the water from the lake was specially collected for the treatment of the First Lady of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

Basaltove Lake, Rivne region
It was formed on the site of a flooded quarry. The depth of the lake is up to 15 meters. It is known for its emerald hue and clear water. There are huge basalt pillars at the bottom of the lake.
In the middle of the lake is a small piece of land called the Island of Love. Near the reservoir are the Basalt Pillars, which are one of the 7 Wonders of Ukraine.
