Moscow targeted in drone attack: Russia reveals details and consequences

Russia reported that on the night of June 6, Moscow was attacked by ten drones, which were reportedly shot down, according to Telegram statements from the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergey Sobyanin.
The official stated that the Russian Ministry of Defense’s air defense forces shot down ten drones flying toward Moscow.
"Ten drones flying to Moscow were destroyed by the Ministry of Defense's air defense forces. Emergency service specialists are working at the sites where the debris fell," the statement said.
The drone attack on the Russian capital became known after 3 a.m.
At 3:44 a.m., Sobyanin reported that air defense forces had shot down six drones approaching Moscow, and at 3:56 a.m. he announced the destruction of three more drones.
The final update came at 4:33 a.m., confirming a total of 10 drones shot down.
It was also reported that due to the aerial threat, takeoffs and landings at Domodedovo, Zhukovsky, and Vnukovo airports were temporarily suspended.
Russia plans to produce 2 million FPV drones this year for the war against Ukraine. Moscow also aims to manufacture 30,000 long-range drones and decoy drones.
By the way, Umerov appealed to allies after the attacks on Kherson and Pryluky. He emphasized that the daily Russian attacks on peaceful Ukrainian cities represent systematic destruction of the Ukrainian people, and Western countries must respond to Russia.
