Drone attacks on Russia and Moscow
Earlier, on March 14, Russians spent the entire day reporting attacks by unknown drones. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, air defense forces shot down and destroyed 280 air targets between 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
The reports stated that Russia's Bryansk, Kaluga, Belgorod, Tver, Smolensk, and Kursk regions, as well as Krasnodar Krai and the Moscow region, were under threat. Mayor Sobyanin continued to report drone attacks on Moscow throughout the evening and into the night.
This is not the first time that Moscow has faced a drone attack since the beginning of 2026. In particular, on January 4, concerns over drone threats canceled 200 flights in the Russian capital.
