Moscow hit by drone attacks, major airport delays reported

In the evening of July 19, reports once again emerged of a drone attack in Moscow and the Moscow region, leading to a suspension of takeoffs and landings at local airports and sounds of explosions, according to local media and public channels.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin stated that due to the drone attack, temporary flight restrictions were introduced at the city’s Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports. Residents reported hearing explosions near the town of Troitskoye in the Moscow suburbs.
“There’s something in the sky over Moscow,” said Andriy Kovalenko, head of Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation.
Meanwhile, residents of Zelenograd and Istra in the Moscow region reported hearing explosions in the sky. According to them, air defense systems were repelling a drone attack - around 10 blasts were heard.

Explosions rocked Moscow and Rostov-on-Don overnight on July 19 amid a drone strike. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin claimed that the drones were shot down as they approached the Russian capital.
In Dmitrov, locals reported that something exploded in a field during the drone attack.
