On the night of October 28–29, unknown drones once again attacked Russia. The authorities in Moscow have already reported allegedly shooting down several UAVs, while an oil depot in the Ulyanovsk region is on fire, according to Russian Telegram channels.

On the evening of Tuesday, October 28, Russians complained that unidentified drones were flying toward Moscow. Meanwhile, around 8:00 p.m., Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin claimed that air defense forces had allegedly shot down three drones.

Russian media also reported that operations at Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports in Moscow were temporarily restricted (both have since resumed operations).

In addition, the attack reportedly affected other regions. According to monitoring channels, around 11:30 p.m., between 100 and 130 drones were over Russia. Whether this is accurate is unknown. However, on the night of October 29, restrictions were imposed at airports in Vladikavkaz, Grozny, and Samara.

Russian social media also reported other consequences. Around 12:20 a.m. local time, residents in the vicinity of Novospasskoye (Ulyanovsk region) reported hearing explosions.

At the same time, footage appeared online showing a large fire near one of the oil depots. Some Telegram channels claim that the drones targeted OAO NS-Oil.

It is also reported that unknown drones attacked the company LLC Stavrolen in the Stavropol region. The company is a major producer of chemical products, including polyethylene, benzene, and other petrochemical products.

There have been no official comments regarding the attack so far.

Explosions in Russia

On the evening of October 26, explosions were also heard in Russia. In particular, Moscow came under attack by known drones. Authorities reported that everything was allegedly intercepted.

At the same time, footage appeared on social media showing a Russian mobile fire unit right near the Kremlin.

We also reported that on the evening of October 27, Moscow was again attacked by unidentified drones. Explosions were heard at least in the Moscow region.
