In Kyiv, 14 employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were injured in a Russian nighttime strike. Some of the wounded were severely injured, Svitlana Vodolaha, a spokesperson for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

According to Vodolaha, 13 rescuers in Kyiv were injured in the Russian strikes. Another 5 were injured in the Ternopil region.

"I would also like to note that today is a holiday for journalists, press officers, and unfortunately, among the wounded we have Pavlo Petrov, I think all journalists from Kyiv know him. Another press officer from Kyiv was also wounded," she said.

The SESU spokesperson added that two of the wounded Kyiv rescuers are in severe condition.

The number of wounded rescuers has increased again

As of 11 a.m. Kyiv time, there are 3 killed SESU employees and 14 wounded.

Russian massive attack on Ukraine on June 6

On the night of June 6, Russian terrorists launched another large-scale attack on Ukrainian territory using missiles and drones. In Kyiv, debris fell in different parts of the city. Residential buildings, infrastructure facilities, a section of the subway, and a gas station were damaged.

Ternopil was one of the hardest hit cities. There were direct hits to industrial facilities and critical infrastructure. In terms of scale, this is one of the most powerful Russian attacks on Ternopil during the war.

In Chernihiv, Russia attacked residential areas. Part of the city was left without electricity.
