In Sevastopol, Crimea, powerful explosions have occurred for the second time within a day. The sound of missile flying overhead was heard over the city, according to "Krym. Realii" Telegram channel.

According to the correspondent of the publication, three powerful explosions rocked the city, causing windows to shake.

"The sound of a missile flying over the southern part of the city was heard," the Telegram channel posted.

Some Telegram channels claim that air defense systems were allegedly activated in the Saky and Bakhchysarai regions of Crimea.

One of them reports the smoke over Sevastopol Bay.

Neither the Ukrainian military command nor official authorities have commented on the situation in any way at this time.

More than 10 ambulances have been dispatched to the scene.

What the Russians say

According to the so-called governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, who represents the occupying forces, the missile strike was aimed at the headquarters of terrorist groups.

"The enemy launched a missile strike at the fleet's headquarters... All emergency services have been dispatched to the scene. Information about casualties is being clarified," the governor wrote.

Potential further attacks

"Attention, everyone! Another attack is possible. Please do not go to the city center and do not leave buildings," Razvozhayev added.

Not only the headquarters

As claimed by the National Resistance Center, besides the strike on the Black Sea Fleet headquarters, explosions were reported in:

  • Bakhchysarai;
  • Simferopol;
  • Pershotravneve;
  • Krasnohvardiisk districts in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

"All of these 'incidents' are made possible only by Ukrainians living in the temporarily occupied territories. Despite the mortal danger and constant repression, they continue to resist and report information about the enemy," the National Resistance Center added.

Explosions in Crimea

Recently, explosions have been increasingly frequent in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. Some of them are related to Ukrainian defenders targeting concentrations of enemy soldiers, equipment, and ammunition depots.

Explosions were heard in Sevastopol earlier this morning. At that time, terrorists deployed a smoke screen in Sevastopol Bay and suspended vessel traffic. The occupying authorities said it was a demining operation in Feodosia. Traffic on the Crimean Bridge was also suspended.

Telegram channels also claimed missile launches in the area of Chornomorske.

Later, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the operation of air defense systems. Allegedly, a guided missile and two drones were shot down.
