US President Donald Trump suggests that the war in Ukraine could end in months, not years, with an already existing "solid plan."

This was stated by Donald Trump's Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg on Fox News.

"I would say it's months, it's not years we are talking about. We have a solid action plan," he said.

According to the retired general, US President Donald Trump is "creating leverage for both Kyiv and Moscow" because he "knows where to apply pressure, and where not to apply pressure."

"He is a great dealmaker," Kellogg added.

He also emphasized that "resolving the Russia-Ukraine war is in the national security interests of the United States."

"It's good for the United States, it's good for the world, if we can stop this fight," the Trump administration official said.

When asked about the possibility of imposing additional sanctions on Russia as a means of influencing the course of the war, Kellogg stated that the decision "is up to the President of the United States."

War in Ukraine

US President Donald Trump has repeatedly promised to end the war in Ukraine. In several statements, he has claimed he could achieve this within 24 hours. Recently, Trump once again vowed to bring the war in Ukraine to an end and prevent a Third World War, stressing that he and his team are very close to making it happen.

Kellogg himself recently expressed the view that simply aiding Ukraine would not be enough to force Russia to stop the war. Instead, he argued that the price of oil must be lowered to $45 per barrel.
