Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean called the unrecognized Transnistria's report of an alleged drone attack on a military unit a provocation.

"We are facing another ordinary provocation. Let's pay attention to the reaction of the society, which is already aware of the reality. These provocations can no longer cause panic or fear," the head of the Moldovan government emphasized.

Recean added that the provocations taking place in Transnistria are supported by Russia.

"Drone attacks" in Transnistria

On Friday, April 5, for the second time in recent weeks, Transnistria complained of a "drone attack". This time, an attack drone allegedly attacked a radar station on the territory of a military unit six kilometers from the border with Ukraine.

The Reintegration Bureau of Moldova called it another provocation aimed at sowing panic and tension, in particular to draw attention to the region.
