The Ukrainian Armed Forces have already mobilized over one million citizens. The National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) revealed how many more they plan to conscript, according to a statement from NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Lytvynenko.

It should be noted that the NSDC Secretary made this statement while presenting bills regarding the extension of martial law and mobilization in the Verkhovna Rada.

"A few words about the parameters of mobilization. A total of 1 million 50 thousand citizens have been conscripted into the Armed Forces. More than 160 thousand individuals are planned to be conscripted. This will ensure the completion of military units to 85%," said Lytvynenko.

Mobilization in Ukraine

On the day of Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine, the country implemented martial law and mobilization. Since then, these measures have been extended several times. At first, for a shorter period of time, and more recently for 90 days.

The latest term for martial law and mobilization ends on November 9. On October 29, the Parliament supported the extension of martial law and general mobilization for another 90 days. This marks the 13th vote since the onset of the full-scale war.
