Mobile air defense groups in action near Kyiv: Video footage revealed

Mobile fire groups, which are part of Ukraine's overall air defense system, are constantly improving their effectiveness. In particular, it is about protecting the airspace on the outskirts of Kyiv, said Lieutenant General Serhii Naev, commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, showing a video.
"We are constantly working to improve the efficiency and skills of our soldiers," he says.
According to the general, Ukrainians must be sure that mobile firing groups in the area of their responsibility do not give the enemy any chances.
"I thanked the soldiers from the mobile fire groups who are part of the echelon covering critical infrastructure and civilians in Kyiv," Naev adds.
Air defense for Ukraine
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine had received the entire nomenclature list of air defense systems that it had agreed on with its Western partners. However, Ukraine needs more of these systems. In particular, according to Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat, Ukraine needs more systems such as Patriot, SAMP/T IRIS-T, NASAMS to protect the country and those facilities that the enemy will try to attack and destroy.
In particular, a multi-level air defense system consisting of various types of weapons has been built around Kyiv. However, no air defense system, including that of the capital, guarantees complete protection.
At the same time, according to Zelenskyy, the most difficult situation with air defense is in the regions of Ukraine bordering Russia and Belarus. However, this does not prevent the Ukrainian Defense Forces from further strengthening the border in this area. In particular, at the end of October, Naev said that training and formation of new air defense fire groups was underway in northern Ukraine.
