Proton plant
The Proton plant manufactures semiconductor devices, LEDs, and electronic components for industry and specialized equipment.
Its components are used in Russian weapons, including Iskander-M missiles and Pantsir-S1 air defense systems.
Earlier, RBC-Ukraine reported that on the night of October 18, drones launched a massive attack on Moscow, St. Petersburg, and the Leningrad region. A drone hit an oil-loading port, and authorities imposed restrictions at three airports.
In addition, on October 16, a drone attack involving around 50 UAVs prompted restrictions at four airports—Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Zhukovsky—in the Moscow aviation hub.
