Military medical commissions in focus: Zelenskyy announces Security Council meeting
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced another meeting of the National Security Council.
According to him, the NSC meeting will address the issue of inspecting military medical commissions.
The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers previously approved the implementation of electronic document circulation during and after the military medical commission process. This will free up military personnel from the role of "courier" and provide the opportunity to quickly obtain the necessary documents required for examination and the implementation of decisions by the military medical commission.
Inspections in the military recruitment offices in Ukraine
After high-profile corruption scandals in regional military recruitment offices, Zelenskyy initiated their inspections throughout the country.
Later on, Zelenskyy approved a decision by the NSC, which instructed the dismissal of all heads of regional military recruitment offices. In some regions, the procedure has already begun.
Furthermore, the police conducted over 200 searches in military recruitment offices and military medical commissions. Law enforcement officers seized more than 10,000 personal medical records.
Recently, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the introduction of electronic record circulation during and after the military medical commission process.
