Military Administration on situation in Vuhledar: Sabotage and reconnaissance groups attempting to infiltrate city
There are no Russian troops on the outskirts of Vuhledar in the Donetsk region, but enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRG) are attempting to break through to the city. However, Ukrainian defenders are successfully eliminating them, according to a statement by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
According to Filashkin, Ukrainian forces have destroyed a large amount of enemy equipment near Vuhledar. However, Russian forces are still making attempts to advance in the area.
"There are no enemy forces on the outskirts of the city yet. Sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRG) are infiltrating, but our defenders are working to eliminate them. The city is not captured, and we hope it stays that way," Filashkin stated.
He also mentioned that around 100 residents remain in Vuhledar, refusing to evacuate. Humanitarian aid deliveries to the city have nearly stopped, as all access routes are under fire.
