Mi-8 helicopter and aircraft destroyed: New images show Rostov airfield after Ukrainian strike

The attack on the Russian military airfield Rostov-Central destroyed four enemy aircraft, according to the OSINT project Cyber Boroshno.

According to the community's analysts, the attack resulted in the complete destruction of several Russian aircraft.
In particular, following the hits, two An-12 and An-26 military transport planes and two Mi-8 helicopters were destroyed.
The analysts also released satellite images and photos from the scene, which confirm significant damage to the aircraft at the site.

What preceded the strike
A series of powerful explosions was heard in Russia's Rostov overnight on September 17, after which a large fire broke out at the military airfield.
The overnight attack was part of a massive strike by Ukraine's Defense Forces involving hundreds of drones against military and critical infrastructure in more than 20 Russian regions, as well as occupied Crimea.
It later became known that the operation at the Rostov airfield was carried out by Ukrainian special services.
In particular, the successful SBU strike hit three Russian aircraft and three helicopters.
