MFA urges to grant Ukrainians access to Truth Social

Ukraine would be grateful if access to Truth Social were made available in its territory. So far, Ukrainians cannot use this social network, according to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Heorhii Tykhyi, on Twitter (X).
Tykhyi noted that he had seen false claims about the "ban on Truth Social in Ukraine."
"Ukraine did not and could not block access because, unfortunately, the social network Truth Social has never made itself available to users in Ukraine," he added.
According to the Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Truth Social is only accessible in a limited number of countries, including the US, Canada, Brazil, Australia, and a few others, with Ukraine not on the list.
"We would appreciate it if the Truth Social would add Ukraine to their authorized region of operations," he stated.
It is worth noting that Truth Social was created in 2021 by US President Donald Trump after he was banned from Twitter following the storming of the Capitol.
Fake about Truth Social
Earlier, Russian propaganda media claimed that the Ukrainian authorities had allegedly blocked the Truth Social platform in Ukraine.
However, the Center for Countering Disinformation emphasized that this social network has never been available in Ukraine.
