Super Bowl 2024 is the culmination of the season in professional American football (NFL) between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco Forty Niners. It will take place in Las Vegas on the night of February 12. Traditionally, the halftime show during this match will host the main spectacle of the entire sports world - the Halftime Show.
RBC-Ukraine has compiled several interesting facts about the final and the incredible halftime show of the Super Bowl, which captivates all fans in the stadium and by the TV screens.

Interesting facts about Super Bowl 2024
- This will be the eighth final for the San Francisco Forty Niners, who have won five times and lost only twice. They have a chance to match the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers for the number of wins in the Super Bowl (six).
- The current NFL champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, for whom beloved Taylor Swift's Travis Kelce plays, if they win this year, will become the first team to win the Super Bowl twice in a row since the New England Patriots did it in 2003 and 2004.

- According to StubHub's ticket resale website, this year's Super Bowl will be the most expensive in history. The average ticket price is around $8,600!
- A 30-second ad on CBS during the final costs $7 million. Over 50 advertisers compete for the attention of over 100 million viewers who will be watching the game.
- Eight-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi will appear in a commercial for Michelob beer along with NFL Hall of Famer Dan Marino.
- Actor Christopher Walken starred in a BMW commercial.
- Also, the final will feature a commercial for insurance company State Farm, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
- Apple Music is sponsoring this year's halftime musical show. Last year, during Rihanna's performance, the tech giant took over sponsorship, replacing Pepsi, which had been the sponsor of the musical event for 10 consecutive years.
- Eight-time Grammy winner Usher will headline the halftime show, who previously performed with the Black Eyed Peas during the Super Bowl halftime show in 2011. He will be joined by other celebrity guests whose names are not disclosed.
- It is known that country music performer Reba McEntire will sing the U.S. national anthem, and actor Daniel Durant will perform it in sign language.
- Also, as part of the pre-game show, Post Malone will perform "America the Beautiful," Andra Day will perform "Lift Every Voice and Sing," and actress Anhzel Piniero will perform both songs in sign language.

- The U.S. Chamber of Commerce expects the game to bring in over $500 million to the Las Vegas budget in one day. According to forecasts, about 150,000 visitors will spend $215 million in the city on food and drinks, hotel rooms, Super Bowl souvenirs, and other items. This figure does not include betting money.
- By the way, gamblers from around the world have already placed bets on the Super Bowl totaling over $23 billion!
- During the final in the U.S. alone, about 12.5 million pizzas and 4,000 tons of guacamole will be consumed, and 48 million Americans will order food delivery totaling over $1.25 billion. Also, according to forecasts, Americans will order nearly $11 billion worth of beer the day before the final!
- During last year's final, so many French fries were consumed that they could fill 39 Boeing 747 airplanes. This year will be no different.

The match is scheduled to start at 3:30 PM on February 11th local time.
The official broadcaster of Super Bowl LVIII is the CBS channel (Paramount+). In the UK, the match will be shown on ITV and Sky Sports, in Germany, the RTL Group (RTL, Nitro) will broadcast it, in France - BeIN Sports, in Italy - Mediaset Italia 1, in the countries of the former Yugoslavia - Arena Sport.
There will be no official broadcast of the match in Ukraine. However, fans in Ukraine have the opportunity to watch the game for free on the DAZN platform.
