Media reveal when Zelenskyy will meet Trump in Washington

What is known about the meeting
According to the report, diplomatic sources have confirmed that the presidents of the United States and Ukraine are scheduled to meet in Washington on July 28. RFE/RL describes the meeting as a significant diplomatic event.
The two leaders have already met recently in France and Türkiye.
According to RFE/RL, in addition to his meeting with Trump, Zelenskyy is expected to attend the funeral service for the late Senator Lindsey Graham at the Washington National Cathedral later the same day.
The Ukrainian and US presidents have already met three times this year. Their first meeting took place in January 2026 on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The second meeting was held during the G7 summit in Évian, France, on June 16, 2026. Following the talks, Zelenskyy said his conversation with Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron could change a lot.
Their third meeting took place at the NATO summit in Ankara on July 8, 2026. The main topics of the talks were strengthening Ukraine's air defenses and production licenses for Patriot air defense systems.
