As of the morning of August 31, 97 people were reported injured in the massive shelling of Kharkiv on August 30. Seven more people were killed, according to the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

“According to the updated information, 97 people have been injured as a result of the enemy's attack on Kharkiv, including 22 minors,” he said.

Later, the governor clarified the number of dead.

“According to the updated data of law enforcement, 6 people died: a man of 74, a girl of 18, a child of 14, a woman of 73, a man of 49, and a woman who was the last to be unblocked, the data is being established,” Syniehubov said.

Massive attack on Kharkiv

On August 30, Russian troops massively attacked Kharkiv. They struck several districts at once.

Hits were recorded in five locations of the city at once. The Russians hit a high-rise building in the Industrial district, a fire broke out, and a minor died.

The number of victims and injured grew. At some point, the death toll rose to 6 people, and more than 50 were injured. Later, the Interior Ministry reported 7 dead in Kharkiv after the Russian attack. 77 people were injured.
