Massive Russian strike hits Kharkiv region overnight: Homes burn, civilians injured

On the night of September 4, Russian drones attacked residential homes and businesses in the Kharkiv region, sparking fires and injuring several civilians, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) reports.
In the village of Malynivka, located in the Chuhuiv district, drones struck a private property. As a result, a residential house and passenger vehicles caught fire. Five people were injured - all sustained minor physical injuries and experienced acute stress reactions. The victims declined hospitalization.
In total, four fires were recorded as a result of the overnight drone attack. The flames engulfed areas belonging to a civilian enterprise and several infrastructure sites.
Emergency response involved 47 rescuers and 8 units of SES equipment to deal with the aftermath of the strikes.

On September 3, Kharkiv also came under enemy fire. A Molniya drone hit the premises of an educational institution in the Saltivskyi district of the city.
Overnight drone assault across Ukraine
During the night of September 4, Russia launched 112 drones from six different directions across Ukraine. As a result, Ukrainian air defense forces successfully shot down or suppressed 84 enemy UAVs, including Shahed drones and decoy drones, over the northern, eastern, and southern regions.
There were 28 confirmed drone strikes in 17 locations, along with drone debris falling in 5 different settlements.
Odesa also came under attack. A fire broke out in a warehouse, and a cargo truck was damaged. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
