Attacks on the Chernihiv region
Russia has significantly intensified its shelling of the Chernihiv region, which borders the aggressor country to the north.
For example, over the past day, the enemy attacked the region with 51 aerial targets — two ballistic missiles and 49 Shahed drones were recorded.
Due to the night attack, Chernihiv and the region's northern communities were left without electricity.
In addition to the blackout, the regional center is also without a water supply.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on continuous repair works in the Chernihiv region aimed at eliminating the consequences of the enemy’s destruction of infrastructure.
According to the Air Force, enemy drones were also detected over the Sumy region on October 21.
They were observed over the Shostka and Konotop districts, heading southward.
A new group of UAVs is flying from Sumy toward the Chernihiv region.
