Russians carried out a massive attack on Kyiv on July 4 using strike drones and ballistic missiles. As a result of the shelling, the number of casualties has risen to two people, the Kyiv mayor, Vitali Klitschko, reports.

"The number of victims of the enemy attack on Kyiv on July 4 has risen to two. Today in the capital’s hospital, a 25-year-old man who was in serious condition died," Klitschko said.

According to the mayor of the capital, the body of the first deceased was found yesterday by rescuers in a damaged non-residential building in the Sviatoshynskyi district of the city.

Shelling of Ukraine on the night of July 4

On the night of July 4, Russia launched a massive airstrike on Ukraine, using 550 means of destruction. Among them – 539 strike drones, one aeroballistic missile Kinzhal, six ballistic missiles of the type Iskander-M or KN-23, as well as four cruise missiles Iskander-K.

In addition to Kyiv, as a result of the Russian attack, the Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Kyiv regions were also damaged.
