Strike on airfield in Crimea

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) carried out a strike on the Kirovske military airfield in occupied Crimea during the night of June 28.

Reports indicate that due to the strike, three enemy helicopters and a Pantsir-S1 system were destroyed.

The Telegram channel Krymskyi Veter reported that during the night of June 28, five or six explosions were heard in the area of the Kirovske airfield. According to local residents, sounds of drones flying overhead could be heard.

Later, videos of explosions, presumably the detonation of ammunition at the airfield, were published online.

Krymskyi Veter also showed satellite images of the fire at the Kirovske airfield.
